We finally have a name for the Unannounced Fall Update of the Warframe! According to devs, the update is now named “Koumei and The Five Fates” and will be released around September – November 2024.

Release Date of Warframe: Koumei and the Five Fate
Currently, the developers have not announced any definite release date for the Koumei and the Five Fate update. The “Koumei and the Five Fate” release date will be announced between the 26th and 29th September at Tokyo Game Show.

Digital Extremes has announced that the “Koumei & The Five Fates” expansion pack will be released before the 1999 expansion.

Caliban Rework
One of the most-awaited changes in the new Warframe update will be the Caliban rework. So, if you have already played with this twisted hybrid of Sentient and Warframe in the game, you are in for a surprise!
Some of the changes to Caliban will be aimed at improving his gameplay and making it a more viable character in different missions. Also, there’s a chance that Digital Extremes may also introduce some visual design changes for Caliban.
New Warframe and New Quest
Warframe’s Koumei And The Five Fates will also bring a new Warframe to the game. However, the devs haven’t revealed any details about it yet. Additionally, the Warframe game will also receive several quality of life changes to enhance and improve the gameplay.
A new standalone quest is also coming in the new Warframe update, but it will be related to the Warframe 1999 story in any way.

What we do know right now is that both the Warframe and the new standalone quest will be themed around the Japanese mythology and history.
This was revealed in the Digital Extremes press release where they made it clear that the Warframe update is inspired by the Japanese culture. Also, the stylization of the game’s logo, along with the fact that more details will be revealed at the Tokyo Game Show also hint at this possibility.
Connection to Ostron Lore
The new quest in the Warframe’s Koumei And The Five Fates will likely revolve around the Osron lore. Another possibility is that it will introduce content from the Plains of Eidolon.
However, there’s a good chance that it will involve the “Ostron village of Cetus,” based on the visuals we saw in the Warframe update.
Caliban Giveaway
